Donald Trump is a once in a lifetime phenomenon. If he loses today, there won’t be another man of such sincerity in American politics for quite some time.
I do not believe Joe Biden has a drop of belief in him. He is a suit wearing a man.
The president deserves a second chance at being what he promised to be four years ago. His flaws are fixable. His love for Truth (however loosely he treats little truths) is invigorating. He energises something that will endure far beyond his administration.
My foreign opinion counts for little. But I would vote Trump today.

First off, you’re quite a good writer. I just discovered this blog/site today and have read 30-some posts so far and found much to agree with, as well as some challenging ideas, none of which I’d say you were wrong to believe. Except this post. I know the left-leaning media harp on him. By the way, calling journalists “scumbags” coundn’t’ve helped which goes to his lack of discipline and impulse control, just to name two problem areas. And Joe Biden is not the cure most likely. I hope he is but I doubt he will be. What he is, however, is not Donald Trump. For every terrible adjective you can apply to a person, there is sound argument that it describes Trump and you’d have multiple examples to point to. It’s been nothing but Trump everywhere all the time for four years and we were exhausted. The historians here always argued about whether Polk or Buchanan was the worst President but now it’s which one was the second worst President, and they’re not wrong.

I see what you’re saying. I’m very conflicted about him. He’s loud, obnoxious, buffoonish, often comically dishonest. But someone had to cut through certain taboos. Someone had to bring forward a debate on American / Western identity. Trump is a statement.
